The Records of Exotics scoring system was originated in 1976 by Thompson Temple. As exotic game hunting became popular, it was realized that there was a need to evaluated or “score” exotics in the U.S..
Hopefully the photographs and information will help the reader identify the many introduced species found in this country. An exotic is a non-native animal. We do not include cats and bears in our book.
The scores listed in this book are those of the largest exotics measured of the animals shown in this book are bona fide world records.
